My son Scott and I just got back from Colorado. He just finished his first year at CSU Fort Collins, and we did a little fly fishing and then stopped by Bryce Canyon NP Utah on the way home. Above is a night photo of lenticular clouds over 14,259 foot Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Bryce Canyon from Bryce Point lookout.
There is awesome scenery below the rim, but crowded along the "canyon" rim and more conducive to people watching.
My goodness, that panoramic shot you took of the Rocky Mountains with the lenticular clouds looks totally fantastic, and fitting for a computer wallpaper, or to be framed at your living room. On other note, it looks like you had a lot of fun on your road trip, and I hope to see more of your adventures!

Thanks Lawrence, and yes we had a great time heading back. Just wish we had more time. We wanted to hit Las Vegas on the way home, but we'll have to save that for another trip, maybe in August.
